Frank Sinatra – My Way

Time and time again, you’ll hear/read the A-List Bloggers advice on how they got on top. Among the many things that got them there, was writing about their passions.

So, in February I started writing about one of the many things that interest me. As a result I started my Music 365 project (A variant of the Photo 365 project)

I didn’t know what to really expect, but after studying my Google Analytics for the last five months. I have to say the results are kind of surprising.

My total viewer/readership has slipped about 30 percent (Ouch!!) But my income has gone up about the same amount (Yeah!!) Strangely it’s been an increase in Adsense revenue.

I hate Google‘s bugly ads and they still rip you off compared to what they haul in. But it has allowed me to get rid of most of the Affiliate ads that I was running in the sidebar. (If you just read the RSS Feed you may have missed this)

So while I’m doing it “My Way” (See, how I tied in today’s song…Clever) It does make me wonder, what will happen once my project is done. Or more immediately, when I start adding more content (interests like Photography)
