What was supposed to be a simple Sunday tuneup, turned into a blogging nightmare. I installed a similar posts plugin on my site. The only problem, is that for some reason it didn’t work with my Disqus plugin. I really like the Disqus plugin, so I decided to uninstall the related post one.
For what ever reason, it messed up my sites database and I had to upload the old one. It shouldn’t have really been a big deal, I’ve done it before. But…you knew there was a but coming. It turns out, the last backup I did, was corrupted and I deleted the previous ones. So, now I get to start all over again. I didn’t know if I should have cried, or just think of it as a fortunate mistake and take it as an excuse to challenge myself to do something new.
So, if you click something and it’s borked, it’s probably tied into some of the old site features. If you came here, from a search engine and your looking for an old post. Sorry to tell you this, your out of luck
