Skills Like This

Don’t know how many of you reading this post, use sites like Netflix. But essentially you put the various movies that interest you in a movie cue (a list) and they send you the top one available.  This is one of those films that I put into my list that I had completely forgotten about. I know I put it on for a reason, but I’m not sure why.

The story is about an aspiring writer Max Solomon. While his family and friends are watching the opening of a play that he’s written. His grandfather suffers a heart attack. He finally decides to accept the fact (or take it as a sign), that he’ll never be a writer.

While talking with his friends about his future. One of them mentions that he wants to go across the street and rob the bank. As his two friends are arguing about doing it. Max, decides to just go and rob it. He pulls it off successfully and realizes that he’s really good at crime and thus starts his career as a criminal.

It might not sound like much of a plot, but for some reason it works. I think it depends on how much you like the actors playing the various characters. If you like them, you believe it could happen. If you don’t like them, your just going to be bored watching.

It’s definitely one of those rent it first, before you go out and buy it films. Unless you got money to waste (lucky you)

Overall Verdict: Rent It!!

without Netflix or Zip, I already have about 6000 movies on my list. Wish I could get my priorities straight.

Ok, I’ll rent it. I’ll put it on my zip list if I see it there.

Hope you enjoy it.

But if you don’t, at least I’ll get a different view of it; whenever you review it.
