New Site Soon

So, for the last week I’ve been working on a new site Setting it up was the easy part. Registering the Domain, adding a new database, installing WordPress and my Thesis theme. It’s all the little things that seem to be tripping me up. Header design, how many columns, color, etc..

The real problem being, I’m just fussy (maybe a perfectionist) I have an idea in my head on how I want the site to look, just not the skill to do it. I can’t hire anybody, because I just don’t have the extra cash lying around. So, I’m stuck fiddling around, till I get something I like

Anyway, it’s all part of my program to better myself this year. One of the goals I had for myself this year is to eat better. Try not to eat as much prepackaged or takeout food. So I’ve decided to teach myself to cook and record the process while I’m at it. I know I could have done all this on my current site. But I decided to keep this as my personal blog, place where I have fun and catch up with my blogging friends (Your the only ones still visiting the site, the metrics don’t lie)

So if you hadn’t figured it out already, its going to be a food blog. I know, insane right?? Just do a quick check, you’ll be amazed by the number of sites dedicated to food. But I think that’s a good thing. It’s one of the few types of blogging that seems to still have a strong sense of community (I miss that)
