Counting Crows – A Long December

I can officially say, after 30 something years living in Canada, I’m tired of winter!!! I don’t want to trudge through the snow anymore, or to shovel it. Or the cold wind that feels like it’s creeping into your soul when it hits you. I just want to live somewhere with mild winters, not too hot, not too cold. Anybody know anywhere like that in the world, feel free to leave a suggestion in the comment section.

My only other alternative is to become ridiculously rich, so I can go somewhere else during the winter months and live in Canada for the other three seasons. But since I have no rich relatives, don’t expect to marry into money (don’t really expect to get married at all) haven’t come up with any amazing ideas to make money. I’m thinking moving is really my only option. It’s not like global warming is helping the situation ;)

Anyway, the only reason for today’s song, is because I think it captures the mood of winter perfectly. Dreary, and kind of depressing. Think I’m going to make some hot chocolate (maybe spike it with Kahlua) and go hide under the blankets.

You can purchase the song here. Or if the video link is down, you can still hear a 30 second clip in your browser.

    Lovely piece of music.

You call this winter? Be thankful you don’t live in Washington!

I know, I know, it hasn’t been that bad. I’m just tired of winter in general.
