The Music – Take The Long Road And Walk It
OK kids, let’s say you have a band. Now, considering one of the major ways that people find new music is through the internet. You might want to know a little about SEO.
For our example, we’re going to use the Music. What problems can you see with their name and how people might find them?
Well if you said, because their name is a common search term, give yourself a partial mark. What other problems might them have?
If you said, self-titled your album and not using something unique. Congrats you got full marks!!
If your going to name your band with a common term or wording, make sure you have a unique album title. Because if it’s the first time someone has heard your band and you have a new site up. Chances are, if they’re not creative with their search parameters, they might not find you.
That’s it for today’s lesson and one that I’ll be exploring again down the line. Because this isn’t one of the hardest groups to find, I’ll show you one that took a few years to track down. But that’s another post
You can purchase the song here. Or if the audio/video link is down, you can still hear a 30 second clip in your browser.
