Moloko – Sing It Back

I couldn’t decide if to go with the video with the horrible sound quality or the one that cuts the performance a bit short. Decided to go with the one that cuts it a bit short because the quality of the video is a bit better. Why do I care about the video quality, well I want to talk about that dress. (Trust me, not something that usually talk about)

Can’t help but think Róisín Murphy was a bit ahead of her time. If this band had come a long a bit later around the time that Lady Ga-Ga had got popular. There would have probably been a debate about which was more outrageous. While both give interesting stage performances (as is in, kind of weird) I think Lady Ga-Ga might win the off the deep end award. Not that many people I know that would wear a lobster shape hat or as much spandex.

If you have time, you might want to search YouTube for the Glastonbury Festival version of this song. You’ll see what I mean about Róisín, but the rest of the band isn’t to far behind her on the crazy scale. If your buying the song, it’s the 9 minute version and not the 3 minute edited one like in the video. As far as I can tell, the shorter version isn’t available in North American (Which Sucks!!)

You can purchase the song here. Or if the video link is down, you can still hear a 30 second clip in your browser.
