Backyard Pics

by Lyndon on August 20, 2008

Had some pictures that I took last week of my backyard and the tomatoes in my garden.  Finally getting around to posting them this week :)

My camera has the ability to take RAW and JPEG pictures (I think most DSLR’s do), so that’s what I did.  This way I don’t have to bother to convert the RAW file in photoshop, since it’s already done the work. Plus it saves time and all I have to do is just upload the pictures to Flickr.

If you click on any of the pictures it will take you to my Flickr account and you can see larger versions of them.

First few shots are of my backyard.

Next are a few pictures of the tomatoes growing my garden.  I was planning to do before and after pics.  But somebody, not naming any names (dad) picked them this morning before I had a chance to go out and shoot.

The last few pictures are a bit of a mystery.  Somebody’s soccer ball (football for everyone else in the world) got kicked or throw into my backyard.  Problem is I don’t know who’s it is, or I’d give it back to them.

Well that’s the scenic tour, next year during the spring.  If it doesn’t rain as much as it did this year, I’ll post some pictures of my cherry tree in bloom.

Later…

@ Rain – I love homegrown tomatoes too, probably why I go through all the trouble each year with them.

@ Brides – Homemade tomato sauce is awesome. While I have the tomatoes I usually make a lot of sauce to use them up.
